Located in Argentina, within the national park The Larches, the Futaleufu dam was built between 1972 and 1976. From here the Futaleufu "Rio Grande" river comes from the construction of this wall and you had not been able to navigate the rapids that exist downstream of the wall. In March 2014, with special permission, a group of kayakers run the lost Futaleufu river rapids for the first time.

The Substantial Media House crew are teasing a new upcoming episode called, "Peru." All of the episodes so far have been amazing and number 8 looks to be no exception. In this one, a group of whitewater misfits meet in the Andes Mountains of Peru. Join them as they drop into countless amazing canyons in search of hidden latin expeditions. Enjoy.

Wow is all I have to say. So this weekend, Pat Keller and Dane Jackson decided to get a little crazy. I mean, apparently Oceana on the Tallulah is not quite difficult enough for them. So, logically, they both decided to run the middle line and throw in a kickflip for good measure. Check out Dane and Pat Keller's lines in the vids.

The Demshitz are at it again. They are hitting the mid-atlantic states this spring and already have a great whitewater kayaking video for us. Check out a little bit of some downriver freestyle and a whole lot of some great creeking in a variety of different locations including the Tygart, Big Sandy, Bull Run, Deckers and more. Enjoy.

Rafa Ortiz, Dane Jackson, Joel Kowalski and the rest of the crew are back with Michoacan Episode 5. The kayakers search for more new rivers as their expedition draws to a close. Unfortunately, they encounter low water on many of their scouting missions and decide to return to the Rio Hoyo del Aire to finish on a high note.

Whitewater creeking video from Shane Groves for you this morning. After several weeks of sub zero temperatures and cold winter boating, West Virginia got a warm 60 degree weekend. This melted the snow and caused Manns Creek to run for several days. A large group of paddlers joined together to take on 5 miles of the best steep creeking in the state of West Virginia.

Very cool short video from Johann Swart of one of his personal whitewater kayaking highlights. Watch as he takes on a series of drops on the Elands River, aptly named Dante's Inferno. Also, check out the crazy prototype paddle he is using. I don't even know what to think about it...

Clear out some time because Substantial TV is back with episode 7, entitled "Squamton." This episode features the whitewater close to one of the crew's favorite destinations, Squamish BC, which the locals call Squamton. Rafa, Joel, Dane and the crew continue their Michoacan adventures with Episode 4, Repelling Into Unexplored Rapids. In this episode, after completing the first decent of the Rio Hoyo Del Aire, the boys head to the Rio Cajones in search of technical lines and big waterfalls. With an impossible rock section blocking their entrance, the crew decides to rappel down.

George Boss and Wylder Cooper bring us a great whitewater kayaking edit to start your morning off right. This video is an entry for this year's (2014) Tallulah video contest. Join them and friends as they paddle some of the most beautiful and exciting gorges, rivers and creeks around.

Wow, I have to say that is one of the better whitewater kayaking videos I have seen in a while. Some of the Jackson Kayak and GoPro athletes took some GoPro Hero 3+ Cameras and a DJI Phantom Quad copter to the classic jungles of Mexico for some epic whitewater. Beautiful scenery, amazing rapids, stellar videography and cool music make this is a much watch.

In this episode, the group is eager to get back to paddling after a couple of days without good water flows. The Rio Hoyo del Aire offers exactly what they're looking for, with quality whitewater and perfect drops during two amazing days of exploration.

Check out this very cool, nearly 18 minute long, video of whitewater kayaking porn from Two Dash Productions. These Kiwis saved up their money and took a tour of the West Coast. They started their trip in California driving the length of the state many times! After the water had dried up, they headed to Washington and BC to find even more quality white water!
