No Umbrella Media brings us an eloquent kayaking short film, For Those Who Love Paddlers, which was submitted for the Portland Maine 48 Hour Film Project. It is a great vid that attempts to convey why it is that we love to paddle. Produced and directed by Nick Callanan and Nick Bowie. Check it.

Check out some footage from the 2013 OKS Adult Keeners program at the Ottawa Kayak School. Running from June 9th to the 22nd, this is an awesome way to hone your playboating skills. Warm water, fantastic river, awesome instructors... it just doesn't get much better. Water levels started at 17.75 on day 1 and by the end of 2 weeks they were at 14.25.

Vimeo user Seth Scott brings us a nice edit of his recent run down the Green River Narrows in North Carolina. This was Scott's last run before his upcoming labrum surgery. I know from personal experience how that is and just want to say good luck to you and don't worry, this is not the end of your paddling career. Just a temporary break from it.

Asheville Adventure Rentals (AAR) River Ambassador Mike Nail brings a cool whitewater kayaking video entitled Spring/Summer 2013. This is a compilation of footage shot in Western North Carolina and East Tennessee. Rivers include the Upper Rocky Broad, Lower Rocky Broad, Green River, Big Laurel and Watauga. Enjoy.

Jon Manley brings us a cool summer whitewater kayaking video entitled Richland Creek in July. With all of the summer rains we have been having, kayakers are getting the opportunity to run creeks that would normally be too low at this point in the season. For avid creekers, it's like Christmas. Enjoy the vid.

Check out this cool whitewater kayaking vid by Jackson Kayak team members Clay Wright and Nicholas Troutman. They found a new wave to surf on the Caney Fork in TN which has always been there but was never deep enough to surf. The recent high water changed that and they were able to throw all kinds of tricks in their brand new 2014 Rockstars.

Ben Friberg brings us an awesome whitewater video shot with a DJI Phantom quadrocopter. It really allows him to capture footage from some unique perspectives and crazy angles. Check it out as Hunt Jennings, Isaac Holder and more run Desoto and Little River Canyon Falls. Epic.

Liquid Logic team rider Jordan Poffenberger brings us a quick Highlight video of his recent trip out west. The vid is pretty awesome and includes some Little White Salmon giant slalom course footage, C-1 world record waterfalls Sahalie and Metlako Falls and more. Check it out.

Check out a whitewater kayaking vid of Mark Mulrain's most recent edit of his trip to Italy. Rivers paddled include Egua, Mastallone, Sorba Slides, Alpine Sprint, Middle Sesia, Lower Sesia, Gronda, Sermenzina, Middle Sermenza, Lower Sermenza, Landwasser and Cannobino. Very cool stuff.

Ray Kessler, Wyatt Hyndman and Jason Beakes went out on July 6th for some Great Falls of the Potomac action. They managed to get Maryland, Virginia and Alpine lines at 3.27. It was a glorious evening until there was a bit of carnage at the very end. Aside from that, looks like a blast!

Charge Productions on Vimeo bring us an awesome video showcasing whitewater kayaking in California. Most of the footage was captured in 2011 during one of the biggest snowpack years in California's Sierra Nevada mountains recorded history. Weighing in at a hefty 23 minutes of kayaking porn, this is one you don't want to miss.
