Shane Benedict of Liquid Logic has been cranking out some videos. In this vid, Shane and Jason decided to take off for some big water fun on the French Broad. The level is 23,000 CFS and it looks like they had a blast. Watch for the picnic table railslide at the beginning lol.

Alright so we all know the Ocoee has been REALLY high from all the rain the Southeast has been getting. You've probably seen the vids on our Facebook page of people running Grumpy's with varying results. Now check out a vid of an actual run down the Ocoee at 10,000 CFS!

Jon Manley brings us a good kayaking video edit. He and Chad Christopher hit up the Cumberland Plateau for some whitewater action on a recent evening. They scraped down Yellow Creek and ran Daddy's Creek from there. Check it out.

Got a very cool kayaking video for you, which Daniel Brasuell posted. This is another edition of "A Wet State." #74 to be exact. This particular vid is the last video from their trip to Corsica. It features some great whitewater action on the Middle Vecchio and Lower Codi.

So how sweet is this? The shuttle parking lot for the Upper Rocky Broad is 30 minutes from the Liquid Logic office. 30 minutes. Check out this cool after work special video where Shane Benedict and friends hit up the Upper Rocky Broad in Bay Cave N.C. at 4.7 feet.

Watch the Substantial crew, while based out of Pucon, explore the old classics of the area as well as finding new waterfalls. The crew then follows the Whitewater Gran Prix from Pucon to Futaleufu. After weeks of racing, and heavy rainfall the crew returns to Pucon and spend the last couple weeks of the trip enjoying the classic whitewater in the Chilean sunshine.

Ryan McAvoy and friends had an awesome rainy time kayaking last weekend in the Southeast. They managed to get in a 20 inch Green lap, a lap on the North Fork of the French Broad, 2 laps on the Toxaway put-in slide, 2 high water runs on Wilsons, and a lap on Gragg Prong. Epic. Check it out.

Ben Trister and friends took advantage of all the rain lately and decided to try something new. This is a video of a first decent of Conner Creek on Signal Mountain outside Chattanooga. Pretty cool whitewater canoeing down a seriously manky run. Check it.

I'm gonna be honest, I don't know much about this video. From the guys' website it looks like they are based out of Austria so I'm guessing that's where this run is. Daniel Egger is the one who published this video and the important thing is that it has a good soundtrack and some great whitewater kayaking.

Ever wonder what kayaking in India is like? Well this is the video for you. Vimeo user Joe Rea-Dickins and friends travel to hit the classics in Uttarakhand, India. In this video you will see first descents of the East and West Nayyar, a morning bandit run of the Kail and a chilled trip down the Alaknanda.

Check out this inspirational short video of Erik Weihenmayer, despite being blind, making the first solo kayak descent of Granite Rapid in the Grand Canyon of the Colorado River in April 2013. He is also training to run the entire 225 miles in fall of 2014. On top of it all, Erik is the only blind person who has climbed Mt. Everest. Enjoy!

This spring, May 17-19 2013, kayakers from around the world will have the chance to qualify for the 2014 Whitewater Grand Prix in the inaugural Ottawa XL. The event will combine a big wave freestyle contest with a high-water boater-x race. A point system will merge the two events and decide the winners. Good luck to all!

Leif Anderson, Spencer Mauk and Josh Oberleas took a fun trip up to the pacific northwest for spring break this year. They had a great time charging hard on some of the local runs including Green Truss on the White Salmon, the Little White Salmon and more. Check it.

Watch the Demshitz's Mike Patterson and friends fire up the Upper West Prong of the Little Pigeon in the Smoky Mountains. Mike also runs the Elk River Falls, which he had his eye on for quite some time. Level was lower than perfect but he went for it anyway. Check it out.
