Check out a video that was put out about 3 months ago called Homegrown. The video features some young paddlers from the Bow Valley in the Canadian Rockies and their whitewater adventures. Some cool whitewater kayaking.

We liked the Barely Legal 2 Trailer from Airborn Athletics that we posted earlier so much, we just had to post the first Barely Legal as well. Once again, this video rocks with some sweet kayaking, good tunes and nice editing. All in some beautiful environments of course. Enjoy.

Ben Trister brings us a cool video showcasing the Blackfly Ion whitewater canoe. The Ion is the original down-river play canoe and you can see that it lives up to that. Rivers featured in the vid include the Tellico and Ocoee rives. Check it.

Early in the fall, the Substantial crew headed to the Grand Canyon of the Stikine, which holds some of the biggest, gnarliest whitewater on planet earth. Watch as they kayak some seriously substantial whitewater including not only the Stikine but some additional BC rivers as well such as the Ashlu Box, Tatlow Creek, and Fear Canyon.

Well it was an awesome day on Clear Creek for the first event of the Plateau Creek Race Series. The turn out was fantastic with 20+ competitors and over 30 spectators whom braved the icy roads to join in the fun. Read more to find out the results and check out some photos.

Jackson Kayak and Red-Bull Team Rider Rafa Ortiz is a very busy man. Fresh off being the second man to conquer the 189ft Palouse Falls in Washington state and competing in the Whitewater Grand Prix, Ortiz is heading home to Mexico to the many waterfalls on the Alseseca River.

Watch as Watersheds Films explores the infamous Little Stoney in Virginia. This is some COLD and snowy conditions but man it looks absolutely gorgeous. The Little Stoney drops 1,000 feet in less than 3 miles and is filled with picturesque waterfalls, long curvy slides and complex boulder gardens.

Wave Sport brings us another helpful instructional video. This one is on how to Airscrew, one of the coolest whitewater freestyle kayaking tricks in the book. The Airscrew is also one of the hardest tricks to land straight and paddler Devyn Scott gives you one super important tip to help you with that.
